The internet has always kept us entertained, sometimes with funny memes or videos or web series that you cannot stop binge-watching. But the internet can also be a very weird place, especially with all the wacky conspiracy theories floating around. But are all of the theories really that wacky? No, not all! So, today let us look at some crazy conspiracy theories that might just be true.

Avril Lavigne

This conspiracy theory is believed by so many people that it has become an urban legend. The conspiracy theory got so much hype that it even has its own Wikipedia page. As far as I know, the conspiracy theory can be traced back to a 2011 Brazilian blog “Avril Esta Morta” which translates to “Avril is Dead”. The blog claims Avril Lavigne dies after releasing her debut studio album. After her death, her people hired someone who looks like her to keep her career going. The blog even named the body double Melissa Vandella.

A conspiracy theory with so many details caught many eyes and the Internet went crazy. Many forums and sites started sharing evidence that supported the theory. Ever since the conspiracy theory saw the light of day back in 2011 it keeps making headlines every now and then. The crazy theory even went viral on Twitter back in 2017. The conspiracy theory gained so much popularity that Avril had to address the issue herself. While talking to Entertainment Weekly she labeled the theory a “dumb internet rumor”. But is it really just a “dumb internet rumor” or is there something that none of us know?

Keanu Reeves

It must be one of the most believable conspiracy theories out there, and honestly, to a certain extent, I also lean towards believing the theory. Keanu Reeves is immortal! Yes, and a lot of people out there even believe this. “Does Keanu Reeves age?” has been searched so much that it shows up as a suggestion if you type in Keanu Reeves. There have been “confirmed” identities as well in the past. But we can only speculate until we have something concrete. But do you think Keanu Reeves is immortal? Comment down below.

Beyonce

This theory can be traced back to 2013 but we have seen it resurface on the internet every now and then. According to this conspiracy theory, Beyonce’s actual age is 198 as she was born in 1974. This theory claims that Solange is Beyonce’s daughter. I for one do not believe in this theory and if I'm being honest I feel like this is the most ridiculous conspiracy theory on the list today.

Katy Perry

This conspiracy theory is definitely on the insensitive side. The conspiracy theory suggests that JonBenet was not murdered in 1996 and she grew up to be a multi-platinum recording artist Katy Perry. The conspiracy theory is definitely insensitive toward the JonBenet Ramsey family. The conspiracy theory has left the internet and traveled to mainstream media too. In a prerecorded video, a comedian was seen asking the singer, “Blink twice if you are JonBenet Ramsey.” So, what do you think is it for real? Comment down below.

5. Britney Spears

This conspiracy theory is about that  “Baby One More Time” singer Britney Spears, who quickly became a household name with her rise to fame in the late 90’s, is not the original Britney Spears. Instead, some people believe that she was a Brittany Spears clone following her breakdown in 2007. Crazy right? In fact, people who believe in this theory point to changes in her appearance, her behavior, and in fact that she has not been in public for extended periods. While this theory might seem ridiculous to you, it continues to be a topic of conversation among conspiracy theorists.

6. Elvis Presley

You know that wild theory that Elvis Presley is alive, rockin' and rollin' in secret? Yeah, it's one of the craziest, yet strangely fascinating, conspiracies of all time. People believe they have seen him in many places, from grocery stores to Graceland itself. They even point to supposed government secrets as proof. But honestly, let's face it, it's probably just a reflection of how much we all still love and miss the King. His music and legacy are so powerful, it's hard to believe he's really gone.

7. The CIA killed Bob Marley

Bob Marley died in 1981, but his death is still a subject of controversy. The theory claims that the government, through the CIA, was responsible for the singer’s death. Supporters of this theory believe that the CIA wanted to prevent Marley from helping the socialist movement in Jamaica, so they poisoned him with a pair of boots. While there's no noteworthy evidence to support this theory, conspiracy theorists state that the CIA was accused of similar actions in the past, so there could be some possibility.

8. Stevie Wonder

Another celebrity conspiracy theory is the idea that singer-songwriter and musician, Stevia Wonder, who is blind can see in real. This theory has been circulating on the internet for years and is based on supposed instances where Wonder appears to respond to visual stimuli. There have been many sites that started sharing the evidence in support that Stevia is not blind. But, during interviews, Wonder himself has said in interviews that he is fully blind and the theory has been debunked multiple times.

9. Stephen King killed John Lennon

This one is perhaps one of the most bizarre celebrity conspiracy theories out there. According to this theory, the author Stephen King was involved in the murder of John Lennon. The theory further claims that King was a crazed fan of Lennon, and when the Beatles broke up, he became so disillusioned that he vowed to kill Lennon himself. But, again like many other theories, there is no evidence behind this theory, and King himself has denied any connection to Lennon’s death.

10. Taylor Swift

Another crazy theory is about Midnight singer Taylor Swift, it says that Taylor Swift is not the real Taylor Swift, but a clone created by her record label. This theory gained popularity when Swift’s fans noticed some differences in her appearance and behavior over the years, resulting in them speculating that there’s more than meets the eye. However, there is no evidence to support that Taylor Swift is a clone, and the singer herself has never commented anything on this theory.

11.  Nicholas Cage

One of the most ridiculous conspiracy theories related to a celebrity is that actor Nicholas Cage is a vampire. This theory says that Cage is immortal and has been around for centuries, which explains why he looks the same age over the years. The theory starts from a photograph of a man from the 1800s who is said to be similar to the famous actor. While many believe this theory is nothing but a joke, others continue to believe the possible existence of vampire celebrities.

12. Michael Jackson

Well, how can we skip conspiracy theories related to Michael Jackson? There have been many theories that suggest, he is still alive, saying that the “King of Pop” faked his own death and is currently living in seclusion somewhere in the world. While this theory about his death, has been debunked many times, several fans continue to believe that Jackson is still alive and will make a comeback soon.

13. The Illuminati killed the real Slim Shady

Rapper Eminem has been the subject of several conspiracy theories, but one of the most strange is the idea that the “real Slim Shady” was killed by the Illuminati and replaced with a doppelganger. This theory is based on the believed differences in Eminem’s appearance and behavior before and after a certain date. But, there is no proof behind it, and it is likely that another example of a wild celebrity conspiracy theory.

14. Paul McCartney

Another craziest conspiracy theory is that singer, songwriter, and musician, Paul McCartney is dead. The theory claims that Paul McCartney died in a motorcycle accident in the mid-’60s and was replaced with a lookalike named William Campbell. Many fans believe that there were various clues in the Beatles' songs and album covers that told the truth about Paul's death. However, McCartney denied the theory in a 1969 Life magazine interview, but the theory still has a following today.

15. Tupac Shakur

The death of Tupac Shakur left a gaping hole in the world of hip-hop and beyond, but some people believe that the rapper faked his death and is still alive today. While he was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, the theory claims that Tupac was tired of the spotlight and wanted to escape the media frenzy, so he faked it.  The people who support this theory point to several pieces of evidence, such as the inconsistencies in the details of his death, sightings of Tupac after his supposed death, and even lyrics in his songs that hint at his death plan. Though it seems true that Tupac is dead, the theory continues to gain momentum.

While we can’t deny that most conspiracy theories are baseless, they exist because people are fascinated by stories that challenge the current state of affairs. The internet encourages most of these theories, in fact, some have been around for years. But why do these theories stick around even when there's no evidence? And is there any conspiracy theory that you believe? Comment down below!
