Yay or Nay? What do think about Starbucks' holiday drinks of 2022

I love the festive season, all our favorite places try to spread joy with their festive menu. And Starbucks is no different and I absolutely love their festive drinks. And if you are like me then you are also excited for their festive lineup of 2022. And the wait is finally over, so let us look at what treats Starbucks is bringing us this festive season.

Peppermint Mocha

This has always been a holiday hit and this festive favorite is turning 20 this year. The best thing about this drink is it’s amazing in all forms be it iced, hot, or Frappuccino. Peppermint Mocha has steamed milk, espresso, peppermint syrup, and mocha sauce and is topped with whipped cream and dark chocolate curls. If you are vegan or lactose intolerant then you can order this drink with any alternative milk and without whipped cream.

Toasted White Chocolate Mocha

Hitting you with the second mocha on this year’s Starbucks festive menu is the amazing Toasted White Chocolate Mocha. This holiday favorite has espresso, toasted white chocolate sauce, steamed milk of your choice, and then topped with whipped cream and festive sprinkles. But if you want to make this beverage dairy-free then bad news for you. This beverage cannot be made dairy-free because of the white chocolate sauce.

Caramel Brulee Latte

One of my favorite festive beverages is this one and if you have never tried it then you should really give it a shot. This holiday wonder is made with espresso, caramel brulee sauce, and steamed milk and then topped with whipped cream and caramel brulee bits. This is definitely dessert in a glass. But again because there is milk in the caramel sauce this beverage cannot be entirely dairy-free. But if you are watching your waistline then you can skip the whipped cream.

Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte

Starbucks hasn't forgotten all of us who are looking for a dairy-free beverage and so they have added the Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte making it the first-ever dairy-free holiday beverage brought to us by Starbucks. This vegan beverage is made with blonde espresso, sugar cookie-flavored syrup, and almond milk. This beverage is perfect if you are looking for a non-dairy option this season. But if you want something hot instead of something iced then you can order the same drink hot.

Chestnut Praline Latte

This is a perfect beverage if you want to spice up your holidays. My friend recommended this beverage and I am so glad I listened to her and picked this drink up. The Chestnut Praline Latte is made with espresso, chestnut praline syrup, and steamed milk and topped with whipped cream and spiced praline crumbs. You can choose your choice of milk and skip the whipped cream if you want a non-dairy option.

Irish Cream Cold Brew

Last but definitely not least is the Irish Cream Cold Brew, which is the Starbucks cold brew with Irish cream syrup topped with a cold foam vanilla sweet cream and a sprinkling of cocoa powder. You can use any alt-milk and skip the cold foam to make this beverage a non-dairy option.
