Andrew Tate never stood any chance against Greta Thunberg and empty pizza boxes!

Andrew Tate is not your everyday controversial influencer. He is so much more than that. And from what I have seen his toxic masculinity and misogyny know no boundary. After all, what can we expect from a guy who can take to a leading social media to make a statement such as rape victims “bear some responsibility”. Yeah, he took to Twitter back in 2017 to share this “wise” statement. No wonder he was banned from Twitter and in August last week he was banned from Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook for “charming personality”. I hope all the readers sensed the heavy sarcasm I was going for.

Greta Thunberg and Pizza brought down Andrew Tate

But you must be thinking if Andrew Tate was banned then how come he is back on Twitter? Well, we all can thank Elon Musk for bringing back Andrew Tate to Twitter. After getting ownership of Twitter Elon Musk reinstated a lot of banned accounts and in that pile of gems there was Andrew Tate’s Twitter account. I guess getting his Twitter account restored was a huge ego boost for Andrew Tate and he always goes on and on about how he “always gets what he wants”. I guess that’s why he didn’t think twice before deciding to start a spat with 19-year-old activist Greta Thunberg.

Honestly, If you ask me why Andrew Tate started all this I couldn’t answer you. But I have been watching Andrew Tate spewing misogynistic toxicity in the online space for a while now and I think it’s safe to assume he did all that to boost his ego. The former four-time kickboxing champion took to Twitter and tagged climate activist Greta Thunberg in an obnoxious tweet about his supercars. He also shared an image of him pumping gas into his Bugatti Chiron which had a modified “w16 8.0L quad turbo”. And it felt like in the tweet Andrew Tate was bragging about the “enormous emissions” of his luxury cars. But I don’t think even Andrew Tate was expecting such a colorful and yet so-befitting response from 19-year-old Greta Thunberg.

Greta Thunberg’s clap back was not just appreciated by the global audience but it seems like she might have just made history. How? Well her iconic clap back has made its way to the top 5 list of most-liked tweets ever with almost 4 million likes. And the fact that this iconic spat happened just days before Andrew Tate’s arrest has netizens speculating about a connection between the both. A connection or not Andrew Tate certainly is stuck in a tough spot and the netizens are not holding back.

One user tweeted “The Assassination of Andrew Tate by Thunberg is now the seventh most liked tweet of all time, and it’s on its way to top five status by the time the weekend is out”. Well, the tweet did predict one thing correctly, Greta Thunberg’s tweet did make it to the top five. Many netizens came forward and pointed out Greta’s “brutal ratio”. One user tweeted “Biggest ratio on this app. Greta wins at everything lmao.” I can only imagine what must be going through the head of the man who “always gets what he wants”.

But what makes this funnier is that Andrew Tate was arrested 10 hours after he was seen smoking a cigar, wearing an extravagant robe while sitting next to a stack of pizza boxes from Romanian pizza chain Jerry’s Pizza. And the Internet did what they do best, ridiculing every situation according to its whims. And this time the theory is the pizza boxes helped the Romanian police in tracking down Andrew Tate and putting him in cuffs. Even Great Thunberg jumped into the action with a Tweet saying “This is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes”.

While trolling is a part of the social media culture now, the Romanian police did provide a statement saying the pizza boxes had nothing to do with Andrew’s arrest. And not being responsible for the environment is also not the reason she was arrested, rather the crimes Andrew Tate is charged with are very serious. But do you think this was just karma or there is a deeper conspiracy against Andrew Tate?
