11 Celebrity Relationships That Put Our Faith Back In Love

Over the last few months, we have seen more celebrity couples go through a divorce than ever before - Kim-Kanye, Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet, Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid and so many others.

But if you lost your faith in true love last year, we are here to change that. Here are 11 lovely celebrity couples who help us keep our faith in love alive.

Famously unwed actors Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn's romance is worthy of a film. It is famously known that their "romance almost never materialized" because of their age gap in romantic films like Swing Shift and Overboard (she was 21; he was 16). When we look back at the past 37 years, we'd say that the partnership was well worth it.

Pauletta Pearson and Denzel Washington

Actors Denzel Washington and Pauletta Pearson met on the set of the 1977 film Wilma and have been married for nearly four decades. In 2018, Washington told Live with Kelly and Ryan presenters, "I met her then, but I didn't meet her then, I saw her then." Coupled in 1983 (after three proposals), they wed in 1995, and have four children, one of whom might be following in their father's footsteps.

On the set of ABC's sitcom Bosom Buddies, Wilson and Hanks first met in 1984, when Wilson was a guest star on an episode about video dating. Hanks was married at the time, but he couldn't ignore the chemistry between them, according to GQ (via Good Housekeeping).

Stedman Graham and Oprah Winfrey

They met for the first time at a charity event in 1986, the year that The Oprah Winfrey Show debuted. At the occasional high-profile event, Lady O and Stedman's affection can be seen clearly, despite the fact that they keep their relationship private. The fact that they aren't married and have never exchanged vows doesn't indicate that they were never proposed to.

For others, it's a trip to the supermarket. ‘Big in ‘04’ Awards was the occasion for DeGeneres and de Rossi to celebrate their achievements in the year 2004.  The two ladies were developing a friendship that would last for the rest of their lives while the rest of the world was paying tribute to the year's passing trends. After meeting de Rossi, DeGeneres said, "It's the first time in my life that I've known in every cell of my being that I'm with someone for the rest of my life." There have always been rumors about the couple’s breakup making the rounds but they are still together.

Queen Bey once revealed to Seventeen that she was 18 years old when she met her husband Jay. Her rule was that she didn't want to get married until she was 25. Because of this, she did not. After a private, heartfelt, and spiritual ceremony in April 2008, the "Crazy in Love" birds tied the knot. Beyoncé keeps the specifics of her highly publicized marriage hidden, much like the couple's top-secret nuptials. We'll have to sift through the lyrics to find out what's going on.

Over the past two decades, the Smiths have seen both highs and lows. Her openness on her Red Table Talk show is evidence of this." In one of these exchanges, she stated that her 1997 wedding day was "horrendous" and that she "went bawling down the freakin' aisle getting married. " These two, though, are unfazed by the stress of the wedding day. It feels so nice to get to that place," Will remarked on the Rap Radar show.

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw

The country power couple met two years prior to their combined Spontaneous Combustion tour in 1996. A kiss in McGraw's dressing room after a concert is all she has to say, PopSugar reports. As of this writing, the duo has released a combined album called "The Rest of Our Life," and they're still making music together. McGraw admitted on Today that he "drives" while he's in his car. "She is the engine of the relationship."

David Furnish and Elton John

It was love at first sight for the "Rocket Man" musician and his long-term S.O. In 1993, they met at a party in Windsor. In an interview with Parade, John said, "I was immediately drawn to David.  He was dressed impeccably and was really cautious. We ate dinner the following night. After that, we were able to finally seal the deal on our relationship. We were smitten by each other in a flash."  However, even though there wasn't a lot of conversation, the couple attributed their everlasting love to their communication. In the Parade interview, John revealed a secret that has been the foundation of their strong relationship. "We've sent each other a card every Saturday for the past 16 years, no matter where we are in the world," he said.

"Love at first sight does exist," Victoria told her adolescent self for British Vogue's 2016 cover story.  Even though she was a little tipsy by the time it happened, it took place in the Manchester United players' lounge.  After tying the knot in 1999, the ex-Posh Spice Girl married the ex-elite soccer star. After all these years, David can still remember where he got Victoria's phone number from. As evidenced by recent images of their 21st-anniversary dinner, the spark is still smoldering.

On Broadway in the early '90s, they began dating shortly after SJP's breakup with Robert Downey Jr. was made public. When Parker spoke on the Girlboss Radio show with her husband Broderick, she revealed the secret to their success: investing in each other. She believes that the more time you have left, the more invested you get. As a result, your joys and sorrows are intertwined. The more you feel and experience these emotions, the more difficult it becomes to conceive without being a part of your life.
